Excited to launch in Picton with Gary Barwin and Jennifer LoveGrove.
Thursday September 17
Picton Public Library
208 Main Street, Picton.

September 19th.
I will also be teaching a short story class virtually. I’m going to talk about how to approach revision for your short story — and what to do when you know it’s ready. We will talk about common pitfalls in writing, finding your voice, authenticity of character and where to submit the story once it’s ready. First 8 people will received a half page of feedback with recommendations for what to do next.
September 20th!
Beyond thrilled to be attending the Eden Mills Writers Festival. In its 38th year, this festival is a serene and communal festival celebrating authors and books.
I will be on a short story panel with Chanel Sutherland and Nadja Lubiw-Hazard with Catherine Bush moderating.
Register now and you’ll get a full day of amazing readings.

Fall Date TBD: Stop the Doomscroll with Jess Taylor. A fantastic Instagram Live chat about writing, always in support of a great fundraiser.
November 11, 2026: Brockton Writers’ Series. No ticket. No RSVP. PWYC at the door. Donations welcome (needed). Glad Day, 32 Lisgar St, Toronto, Ontario
More to come. If you know a series or event that might like to have a weird and dark short story collection, let me know. I also thoroughly enjoy moderating literary conversations, so if you’d like to invite me as a panel moderator, I’d love to join you.
