Saturday September 19: 11:30am. I will be teaching a short story class virtually. I’m going to talk about how to approach revision for your short story — and what to do when you know it’s ready. We will talk about common pitfalls in writing, finding your voice, authenticity of character and where to submit the story once it’s ready. First 8 people will receive a half page of feedback with recommendations for what to do next. Register now.

Saturday September 26: Word On The Street Toronto. Feminist Horror with me and Vivek Shraya. 12:30pm on the Love & Shadows Stage in Metro Hall. A free outdoor/indoor book party with panels and book stalls, exhibitors and indie authors, this event is a dream come true for me.
