I will also be teaching a short story class virtually. I’m going to talk about how to approach revision for your short story — and what to do when you know it’s ready. We will talk about common pitfalls in writing, finding your voice, authenticity of character and where to submit the story once it’s ready. First 8 people will received a half page of feedback with recommendations for what to do next.

Beyond thrilled to be attending the Eden Mills Writers Festival. In its 38th year, this festival is a serene and communal festival celebrating authors and books.

I will be on a short story panel with Chanel Sutherland and Nadja Lubiw-Hazard with Catherine Bush moderating.
